37 PSR Update October '25
Shooters,
As we go into the final quarter of '25 we're still partnering with Obsidian Spear Group and Mark Denny to bring you guys some great training, as well as going into our second training cycle of the Modular Training Concept. We also just shot our fourth and final combat match for 2025. The combat matches have been very well received, and we've had a ton of fun with the stage design and all the rest that goes into it. We'll be continuing that into 2026! Finally, this newsletter gives us an opportunity to interact with you, so please feel free to comment and start discussions in the comment section. Look for an expansion of that capability in the near future. Here's what's coming up on the horizon:
Modular Training Concept
The Modular Training Concept (MTC) is our 6-month training cycle where we cover pistol, carbine, medical, hand-to-hand, weapons integration, and single operator structure clearing. Classes are taught twice per month on Saturdays from 8:00AM-12:00PM. We just started a new cycle last weekend with the first of our two pistol classes. Schedule is below:

For pricing the MTC can be taken one month at a time for $200 per training month/subject (i.e. all November material $200, all December material $200 etc.), or the whole program can be taken on a subscription basis for $140/month billed monthly for 6 months. This is our attempt to present a solution to the concept of holistic civilian defense, we put a lot of effort into building this material out. Hope to see you there!
Knife/Counter Knife with Mark Denny
Crafty Dog is back for more real world based knife and counter knife combatives. Saturday October 18th 1:00PM-4:00PM. This is a monthly seminar with dates in November and December TBD, but generally speaking we're trying to do this every 3rd Saturday of the month. Cost is $75. Sign up HERE
Obsidian Spear Group
1 November we will be running a vehicle gunfighting class in conjunction with Obsidian Spear Group. This will be an intermediate level class that includes live fire, and a shoot-in, focusing on vehicle bailouts and gunfighting in and around vehicles. This material was originally intended to be part of the Modular Training Concept. However, because we wanted to put insure that we put out a quality training product instead of jamming multiple subjects into one day of training we decided to do this as an add on.
