Range Hot 01 July '26
Shooters,
We’ve got a couple things we’re excited about this month. First, in the spirit of 1776, we’re running a full auto promo event on July 4 th : $76 for any of our full auto guns +100 rounds of ammo. We’ll also be putting an M107A1 .50 caliber sniper rifle up for rental, and we’ll have a big American flag up for those all important photo ops! We’re also running some July specials for member guests, memberships and renewals, so be sure to check that stuff out.
More near and dear to my heart personally, we have put our 3-part Advanced
Concealed Carry class on the calendar. This is our take on holistic tactical training for those who choose to defend themselves with a concealed carry handgun. It will be offered as ACC I, II, and III, with each class being two days in duration. We will start approximately where our Intro to Pistol class leaves off, and from there we will delve into dynamic shooting, dealing with knife and gun threats at close quarters, unarmed self-protection, blade work, emergency medical skills, and integrating unarmed and blade skills with your firearms skill set. I talk about some of the theory that goes into these classes in my articles “So You’re the Militia: Now What?” so if your interested in what perspective we’re coming from that’s a good place to start.
Our blog didn’t make it press this week to do some unforeseen difficulties with
videography, but in the near future we’ve got a review of the RMJ Jenny Wren
tomahawk in the works, so look for that in your inbox soon. In the meanwhile, enjoy some footage of a little light machinegun work in the shoothouse. Happy 250th America!
See you on the range!
